Recommended Action: RESOLVED that the Board of Regents go into executive session. As permitted by section 24-6-402 (3), Colorado Revised Statutes, the board discussed the following matter as announced and pursuant to the subsection as listed below:
- (b)(I) a personnel matter at CU system administration - Vice President search.

Executive Session is listed as an agenda item if needed. The board did not vote to go into executive session.

Resolved that the Board of Regents, in consultation with President Kennedy, elects José D. Padilla as Vice President, University Counsel and Secretary of the Board of Regents effective July 6, 2020, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the letter of offer accompanying this resolution.

Motion by Glen Gallegos, second by Lesley Smith.
